Inspired by the rapscallions and ne'er-do-wells famed for plundering travelers in Colonial Virginia along the old Carolina Road, our winery serves as your wayward hideout in Waterford, Virginia.  Join in the fun with the playfully mischievous wines that  delight the lovable rascal within you.

Friendly servers with extensive knowledge about the wine. In fact, the owners are often behind the bar.
25 acres of picturesque scenery to enjoy. Our property is part of a conservation easement with the Waterford Foundation which preserves the peaceful, bucolic setting.
Authentic architecture. The winery is a reproduction of a 100 year old hay barn and was built by the Amish and finished by Tom, the owner’s brother. The main barn features soaring ceilings with beautiful views east and west of the Catoctin and the Short Hill Mountains. The cellar tasting room is rustic/industrial with a unique wine club feature.
